Is Your Life a Life of Purpose?

I think everybody wants to believe there is purpose in our living.  What is your purpose?  That is an important question.  You may or may not have an answer.  If your life does have purpose, why is that its purpose?

Anyone can decide the purpose of his life.  But, does one know it is a valid and worthy purpose?  We only have one life to live.  One life to give to whatever we choose to pursue.  It is a sad waste never to have found a reason to live and a direction to travel.

God tells us why we exist.  God tells us how to spend ourselves and how to use our time.  God gives us purpose and direction that promises lasting value in our lives and hope for a new and eternal life, beyond our lives here, under the sun.

The book of Ecclesiastes explores our dilemma from the human perspective and then calls us to see beyond and outside of our limited, earthly view.  The book ends with a declaration of the purpose of every human.
