Grace Teaches.

Grace Teaches.
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:11-12).
First of all, the grace of God brings salvation. That salvation is deliverance in the form of forgiveness of sin.
Secondly, the grace of God is available to all men (people). The availability indicates that we can take advantage of it if we will.
Thirdly, the grace of God teaches us. God’s grace is intended to change us by word and instruction.
Finally, the grace of God changes us because its teaching causes us to deny one life-style (ungodliness and worldly lusts) and directs us in another (sober, righteous and godly).
The grace of God tells us there are some things we must DO!
