Are God’s Commands Annoying?

The commands of the Lord are not burdensome, that is unless I want to do what I want to do!  Let’s consider a couple verses:  “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.  And His commandments are not burdensome”  (1 John 5:3).  “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for  us” (Ephesians 5:1-2).  You can do God’s will, if you know God.  One must, first, adopt a spiritually minded perspective with full trust in the Lord.
