Should there be music in church?

Should There be Music in Church?
Only the Lord can answer this question.  It is his church and he has the right to decide.  We know his preference by reading the scriptures.
We do, in fact, find music in church.  I urge you consider all these passages say about it and what they do not say about this music.
“…speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord…”  (Ephesians 5:19).
“…Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”  (Colossians 3:16)
“…What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.”  (1 Corinthians 14:15).
“…saying: “I will declare Your name to My brethren;  In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”  (Hebrews 2:12).
One will find other (kinds of) music in the book of Revelation, but the text is describing what will be in heaven.
Should there be music in church?  Yes.  Lots of singing!
