Who is in charge of the church?

Who is making decisions about morality and teaching? Who is deciding what kind of organizational structure will guide the church? Who is shaping the worship? Who sets the mission or the objective of the church? Who says how a person is to be saved and added to the church? Who is really in charge of the church?

“(God…) put all things under His (Jesus Christ) feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all (Ephesians 1:22-23).

If Christ is Head of His Church, then He is the answer to each and every one of the above questions. So, we should find scriptures to answer all questions and allow the word of the Lord to define and shape His church. We need to stop doing what we want, listen to the Lord and let the church be His church!
