Who is my neighbor?

This question prompted one of the most endearing stories of the Bible in a parable of Jesus. Jesus teaches that worldly connections like proximity, kinship, status, religion, race are not the things that determine who my neighbor is.

My neighbor is one who, without any of the above traits, needs my help. My friend, we have a lot of neighbors. What do we think they need most?
