Why Is Satan So Effective?

Satan is effective in pulling people into sin and rebellion because he ignores all the rules.  Most significantly – he is a liar.  Read the Bible account of the first sin (Genesis 3:1-6).  Satan will tell you whatever you want to hear.  He will contradict God, truth and reality without flinching.  Well practiced in the art of deception, Satan is very convincing.  Jesus said:  “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me (John 8:44-45)
