Be wise … How?

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7).

The starting point for understanding this world and our lives in it is a recognition of and a respect for the Creator. If you begin with God (particularly as He is revealed in His word), you can make sense of it all. Unfortunately, too many reject the instructions of God and, to justify themselves, without fear, reject God. The result is a life of foolish choices and unfortunate consequences. Look above at Proverbs 1:7 again!
