“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:15-16).
Most of us have heard Jesus’ warning. Why do so many fall prey to the false prophets?
He tells me what I want to hear.
He always smiles and seems so happy.
He likes everybody, even me.
He takes a personal interest in me.
He quotes from the Bible.
He has a large church and many followers.
His teaching, however, is not what the Lord teaches. His fruit is not the pure message of Christ. Hear Jesus’ warning. Read Matthew 7:15-27.
